In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Reading and interpreting engineering documents related to each assigned project, such as local or international STD according to customer specifications and or internal Emerson specifications, drawing and execution procedures, best practices, P&Id, BoM, etc.
- Execution of 2D constructions and tables with material requirements, starting from the 3D projects made by the Design Application Engineer (Technical Draftsman, Mechanical Engineer)
- Modification of existing projects starting from the instructions provided for the revision of the projects under execution or to create new skids starting from the existing ones
- Execution in 3D for components and supports necessary for the execution of the project. Creation of 3D drawings, blocks related to equipment, based on 2D drawings or existing catalogs
- Creation of both the detailed drawing and the necessary accessories (filters, skids, supports, etc.) as well as the creation of the list of necessary materials (screws, bolts, nuts, washers, flanges, connections, pipe length, accessories, etc.)
- Rating of the drawings made by the Mechanical Engineer or the Technical Draftsman
- Conversion of drawings from 2D CAD to 3D CAD Use the specialized software used in design to create 2D and 3D drawings (for example, but not limited to AutoCAD, Inventor)
- Graduated from higher education with a technical profile or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field
- Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD (Autocad, Microstation, Inventor, etc.)
- Practical knowledge in P&ID - BOM type applications (process diagrams and material lists)
- Advanced knowledge of the English language; French or Italian is an advantage
- Good analysis/organization skills
- Ability to make decisions, proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and relationship skills with all employees
- Oral and written expression and communication skills
- The ability to work in virtual teams, at distances
- Advanced knowledge of PC usage – MS Office, Internet, E-mail
- Technical skills, orientation towards results and optimization of work processes.
